1st International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonization
The 1st International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonization will bring together scientists, engineers and technologists from across academia and inducstry to learn about and debate the latest advances in hydrothermal carbon.The programme focused on different applications of hydrothermal carbon materials ranging from bioenergy to agriculture and advanced materials for energy applications and catalysis.

2nd International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonization
In May 2019, the DBFZ Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum gemeinnutzige GmbH (Leipzig, Germany) hosted the 2nd International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonization in Berlin, Germany as a follow-up to the first eventthat took place in London, UK in April 2017. Organization of the evenet was supported by the ATB Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (Potsdam, Germany).
